You could never accuse my father of being politically correct. One of his long standing practical jokes whilst working in the Prison Service would happen on Christmas morning. All would be quiet in the Prison, when all of a sudden the sounds of Englebert Humperdink's "Please release me let me go" could be heard throughout the prison walls. I hasten to add that this was always met with laughter from Inmates and Officers alike. He always said that everyone needed to smile on Christmas Day no matter what the circumstances were and always succeeded in doing just that.
